These are great blinds - I bought one for my new bathroom and liked it so much I got another for my home office. I got the white faux wood grain effect, which is really nice. Having previously wasted time and money cutting down an off-the-shelf faux wood venetian blind from Dunelm, I decided to try English Blinds instead. The samples arrived quickly and then a week later my new blind arrived. The quality of the mechanism and the service and product are both excellent. Yes, the components used are far better than my previous blind and it operates very smoothly. The quality of the faux wood is also much superior and has a realistic wood grain.
