Important - Ready made blinds come supplied with the wooden bottom bar detached from the rest of the blind. This allows you to remove extra slats from the bottom of the blind if you need to shorten it. The bottom bar is then easily attached to the blind by sliding it into the ladder tape underneath the last slat. You then feed the lift cord through the plastic bung in the bottom bar and back up again and tie a double knot.
